Our team recently carried out the removal of two Silver Birch trees in Great Barton. Both trees were unfortunately dying and posed a potential risk of falling into the neighbouring garden, so for safety reasons they had to be felled.

At Top Garden Services, all tree works are completed in accordance with British Standard 3998:2010, and when a tree must be removed, we always ensure the work is done outside of the bird nesting season to protect local wildlife.
In this case, the project had a lovely finishing touch — some of the wood was kept on site to become part of an insect mansion, at the special request of the owners’ grandchild. It’s always rewarding to see how tree work can still contribute positively to local biodiversity.
