Preparing Next Year’s Firewood with the MultiOne Loader and Log Splitter

In this blog...

We make the most of every part of our tree surgery work. Timber from removals and pruning doesn’t go to waste – it’s processed into seasoned firewood for local customers. Recently, our team spent time at the yard preparing and organising timber for next year’s supply.

Using our trusted MultiOne loader and powerful log splitter, we were able to process large volumes of wood efficiently, while also reorganising the yard to create more space for future projects.

Our Process

  • Splitting logs: Using our log splitter, large rounds were split down into manageable firewood pieces, ready for stacking and seasoning.
  • Loading and moving timber: The MultiOne loader allowed us to shift heavy logs and move processed firewood quickly and safely.
  • Stacking for seasoning: Logs were stacked with airflow in mind, helping them dry evenly and become ready-to-burn hardwood.
  • Clearing yard space: By processing and moving timber, we freed up valuable space in the yard for upcoming jobs.

Results

  • Large volumes of timber processed with log splitter and loader
  • Firewood stacks prepared to season for next winter
  • Yard reorganised for greater efficiency
  • Sustainable use of timber, turning waste into heating fuel
